Here’s a nice candid shot of Frank Turner right in his element. While I haven’t been listening to him a whole lot lately, England Keep My Bones is definitely up there this year for me. Lately I’ve seen him get bashed a lot, in ahem certain comment sections, for being a upper-middle class, privately educated, conservative folk singer that is incredibly overrated. Now while much of that is true…conservative? Really? I mean I know he’s one of those recent trending solo artists who has been all about the “Oh I used to be this crazy stupid anarchist but now I’ve grown up and become jaded, fuck it all”…but hell he does it damn well. Not quite seeing the conservative argument.
